Tim (‘76) and Mary Eddy (‘78) Wolf
Tim graduated from ISU with a degree in agricultural business. As a student, he was involved in agriculture-related campus organizations, activities with his dorm floor (Cessna), and a member of the Homecoming Central Committee.
Tim currently holds the title of president and CEO of State Savings Bank in Des Moines. He is actively involved in Des Moines Rotary AM, Waukee Economic Development, Iowa Bankers Association and serves as a board member of the Cyclone Gridiron Club. He has remained involved in agriculture by helping his parents, who are farmers, and being involved with Mary and his brother in a farm partnership in Northwest Iowa.
Mary graduated from ISU with a degree in interior design and advertising design. As a student, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and held positions within the chapter, as well as design organizations and cheerleading. Mary began her career with Ahern-Pershing as a commercial interior designer. After the birth of their children, Peter (’07 chemical engineering) and Ben (’11 electrical engineering), she has continued interior design consultation. She also serves on the ISU Athletics Council and House Corporate Board of Delta Delta Delta.
Tim and Mary currently reside in Waukee. They are both ISU Alumni Association life members and sustaining life donors, members of Order of the Knoll, Cyclone Club Directors Level donors, Clyde Williams Society members, as well as annual donors to their respective colleges. Staying in touch with ISU has never been difficult considering that on Mary’s side of the family there have been 16 graduates spanning three generations!
Terry (‘79) and Maureen Roach Tobin
Terry graduated
from ISU with a degree in economics and political science. As a student, Terry
was actively involved with FarmHouse Fraternity and the Student
Alumni Association.
Terry
currently works in investment management at Principal Financial
Group. He has stayed connected to ISU through his fraternity, the
Alumni Advisory Committee of the Political Science Department, and the ISU
Foundation as a Governor and Investment Committee member. His brothers, Jim
(’78), Kevin (’82), and Bernie (’84) and his father, Kelly (’87), are all ISU
graduates.
Maureen has
practiced law for 26 years with Whitfield & Eddy, P.L.C. in Des
Moines. She graduated
from law school in 1987 -- on the same date and time as Terry's father Kelly
graduated from ISU in Farm Management. Maureen also serves
as chair of the Mercy Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. She has
coached middle school and high school Mock Trial and has taken three high
school teams to the National High School Mock Trial Championship.
Terry and Maureen
are ISU Alumni Association life members and Order of the Knoll
members. Maureen’s law firm sponsors an annual construction
scholarship for the ISU College of Engineering. In addition, the extended
Tobin family sponsors an annual Tobin 4-H Scholarship in honor of J. Kelly and
Irene Tobin for a 4-H student attending ISU. Terry and Maureen reside in Clive
and have three daughters, Nora, Helen, and Mary. Nora ('10 political science
& international studies) received the Wallace E. Barron Award, which is
awarded annually to up to five ISU seniors who demonstrate high character and
outstanding achievement in academics and university/community activities. She
is the executive director of Self-Help International based in Waverly,
Iowa. Helen, an avid Cyclone fan, works in publishing in New York City,
while Mary attends school in Boston.
