2011 Cardinal & Gala Recap
Under the leadership of honorary co-chairs, Steven ('73) and Kathy ('72)
Zumbach and Dwayne (’93) and Lori (’93) Vande Krol, the inaugural
Cardinal & Gold Gala, held on November 4, 2011, was a great success!
There were 325 generous attendees who contributed more than $61,000
through auction item purchases and scholarship pledges. Combined with
benefactor dollars, almost $80,000 was raised from this event. From these
funds, six $1,000 Cardinal & Gold Scholarships were awarded and
$42,503 went toward the endowment. The remaining money went to support
student and alumni outreach programming.
